Our MISSION
DOOR TO DOOR AID FOR THOSE OFTEN OVERLOOKED
COREFI has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service to be a charitable organization described by section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Tax Code. COREFI provides direct services to disadvantaged and underserved communities in Vieques, Puerto Rico. Established in 2008 as a response to the overwhelming amount of neglected residents, we have been working hard to provide solutions for our most underserved citizens. Currently, we are assisting hundreds of residents on a regular basis with critical services and basic human necessities. Without social security numbers, Medicare, or family support, the majority of those that we assist are unable to access government funding and live far below the poverty line. Many are ill, bedridden, or physically unable to leave their homes.
We built ramps and accessible bathrooms, repair damaged roofs, deliver food and water, and provide life-saving medicines. Learn more about Our Team and join us to Volunteering
